LinkedIn App lands in Android market on costume and necktie

Android LinkedIn LinkedIn App Lands in Android Market Wearing Suit and Tie

LinkedIn, self-proclaimed social network for professionals online, finally made its way to Android with a formal application after running an open beta for the last four months. They added Reconnect (to discover new contacts) and Messages and functions of features that were available from the get - go, as the display of the status of contacts updates, check your individual connections, incoming invitations handling and research of the network for new contacts.

LinkedIn is a little different from Facebook because it is more reserved and consists of fields of different profile designed to showcase your previous work experience and the recommendations of peers. You can use the second and third degree connections for you to people outside your immediate professional circle. You can also join groups surrounding particularly interested to meet new people in your field. See the home page of LinkedIn and you register if you feel like e-shmoozing.

Time to LinkedIn is taken to be place on Android, after having been on BlackBerry and iPhone for some time. I'm still not particularly happy with the app on the torch from LinkedIn to its inappropriate about each system menu, notifications do not provide shortcuts to launch the application and integration with address book is only partial.

We hope that the fares better Android app. If you want to give it a shot, LinkedIn is available on the market.
