In an effort to reduce the costs of consumers on international text messages, Rebtel introduces VoIP (text-over-IP) a new service of texts which allows SMS through local numbers on the Internet, while also giving to large application SMS providers a way to extend the savings to their customers.
To begin to use the service, users should register site Web of Rebtel, enter their mobile phone number and a number of a person, they like to remain in contact often. Rebtel at its end will create a local number where you live and send it in a message text to your phone. You should save this number in your address book and use it at any time to send SMS or call the person that you have defined in the registration process to save at least 50% of the costs of the regular operators.
In addition, the company also unveiled a new API, allowing other companies messaging and some carriers to offer the same service to their customers.
Compared to the large American carrier, Rebtel VoIP is up to 92.5% cheaper than the price offered by Sprint and 93% cheaper than AT & T and Verizon…
