A quick flip of the wrist toggles between control of the car and home to the Viper SmartStart PAP control screens. With the integration of industry leading interactive Alarm.com security services, users can now arm and disarm their security with a touch system with their smartphone.
Viper SmartStart is currently available on the iPhone, BlackBerry and Android platforms. Existing users can update their application to version 2.2 to receive home control functionality. However, a security Alarm .com-enabled system is required for the feature to work.
In addition, also directed Electronics has released Viper SmartStart GPS (model VSM250 number) which allows users to control, locate and track their vehicle with their smartphone, with additional family security, and social networking features.
