Namco Puzzle Quest 2 was released last December and we absolutely loved the game. We felt that Namco has done a fantastic job to deliver a great experience of Puzzle Quest 2 that could easily compete with the Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 and PC as being the best version of Puzzle Quest 2 on any platform versions. One thing that we have on the game was how Namco offers any kind of multiplayer mode. Well my friends, it seems that Namco has heard all our resources as they have has just published an update for the game which allows multiplayer.
The multiplayer mode in Puzzle Quest 2 allows players to go face to face with characters they have built in video game history. You can play against other players via local Wi - Fi and Bluetooth, as well as taking the fight online via services of Apple game Center. The game also has a rankings online, which allows to compare your results with other fans of Puzzle Quest 2 through game Center.
The multiplayer update would be enough cause for celebration, but Namco has given the Puzzle Quest 2 love iPhone version more as the game now supports the iPhone 4 retinal display. It was another element that we mentioned in our review and we are pleased to see that Namco was supported in this update.
Updating today, Puzzle Quest 2 has become even more attractive for us because we still liked the game as a solo experience, and now that we take the fight online, we cannot wait to dive in the game to show how real men play games of match-3 puzzle RPG. And don't forget that the version of the iPhone will look super sweet now that he is received support for the display of the retina.
