T - Mobile flagged G2X running CyanogenMod 7

g2xCM 660x580 T Mobile G2X spotted running CyanogenMod 7

We know you may be enough to hear of the G2X T-Mobile at this stage, but this should get some powerful Android dual-core excited phone owners. The handset should be the next in line to get some love 7 CyanogenMod at some point, but it seems that it may be sooner than later, depending on the images above.

We cannot say that we are surprised more when a new Android device receives an update for the latest and greatest OS via a Roma custom instead of the official OTA of the carrier update. The G2X will be no different, and while we have no ETA: when the popular custom ROM are available to the public, T-Mobile is likely months away from giving users the Android gingerbread 2.3 update they have so much thirst. Do not hesitate to me wrong, Magenta prove.

With these shots in nature, already have CyanogenMod handset could be a few weeks away, and is to be generous. To get all up and running properly for the G2X, developers need resources, and has yet to release the source for the new phone from T-Mobile LG flagship. The Optimus 2 X is almost the same handset, but it is simply not enough, close System partitions are different between the two. Other factors may also slow down development, but it does not concern as it keeps the team to do what they do best.

It will be a beautiful day when we get to see the G2X flex its muscles with all geekery CyanogenMod 7, making it better yet powerful handset. For the moment, G2X users, you can the root of your phone, flash a custom recovery image and apply some interesting mods for the combined already. This should keep you occupied long enough until the real deal is off. If this is not the case, see Tegra area.
