jobs The Mobile Roundup: iOS 5.0, iCloud, post pc myths and Photon 4G

It is a big, big week in the mobile world, that Steve Jobs and company showed off the coast of iOS 5.0 and iCloud to keynote WWDC 2011. While we see a new iPhone, the functionality of this update of the operating system must breathe new life in the iPhone 4 and 3GS combined there and it will likely land on new equipment in the fall. It has also provided a great debate on the question of whether we really are in an era of "post-PC". Motorola and Sprint wanted be rejected fun, this week, as he showed off the coast of some new Android devices.

Let go this week in mobile news, friends.

Apple CEO Steve Jobs said products of the company are the brains of its machines, but the software is the soul, so we had a good look at what will lurk deep inside the next iPhone (and existing iPhone and iPads). Apple iOS 5.0 promises to bring more than 200 new features to users, and many of them may seem "borrowed" from other platforms, you know that apple will give these Polish enough single to make it stand out.

The greatest thing is perhaps reconstituted notification system which now works like the Android platform, because you can do a scan down to see all notifications to your. Things will pop up in the middle of the screen for you bored and killing your workflow. You can also view notifications on your lock screen now and dive directly into the associated application.

The iMessage service can help save on SMS fees, as this clone BBM allows users of iOS to communicate with them through text, videos or photos for free. We can also forward a spurred browser integrated Twitter experiment, app improved camera with photo editing, and more.

The most important thing that will result from this announcement is perhaps the iCloud system, which is essentially a dropbox for the masses. Instead of acting as just a hard drive in the cloud, iCloud will be an active online filing for your information. For example, the application of stream of photos will help you keep all your photos you take with your iOS device synchronized on your other devices without having to do anything. Will it also work with documents, apps, music and more.

Postpc The Mobile Roundup: iOS 5.0, iCloud, post pc myths and Photon 4G

All the talk of iOS will inevitably lead to the iPad and the idea that we are in a world of "post-PC". Of course, if you ask our own Simon Sage, it the tell you which is absurd. In a room reflected this week, he spoke of how the Tablet revolution can never really replace the power and performance of traditional forms of computing.

There are a few obvious reasons to doubt the transition as oppose an installed base of notebook and netbook users who have no real need for another computer. Price is another. You can get a decent for $250 netbook tablet computers are $400 minimum. Feature is also limited by the factor of form, as lacking physical keyboards and ports of entry (USB SD, and size for example) and the battery to last longer day. Although the horse improves, high-end PC upgrade still widely available best tablets.

He dives extensively in why he thinks no that tablets have the stuff really replacing actual computers and you really should give it a read and let him know if say you agree with him or he why he was wrong.

Sprint and Motorola renew relationship this week by announcing the Photon 4 G and the triumph of Virgin Mobile. The Photon 4 G will wear a Tegra 2 processor dual core, qHD, 8 megapixel camera with camera flash 4.3-inch screen, oriented to the dual-LED front, WiMax support and it will launch later this summer with Android gingerbread 2.3 with a custom user interface. It seems that fans of Sprint will have a beautiful selection of range top Android phones with this and the upcoming EVO 3D.

Motorola Trimph brings some hardcore material, to the prepaid market as this non-contrat phone will have a screen 4.1 inches and Android 2.2 Froyo, camera 5 megapixels. It reminds me very much of the original Droid (or, as I call it "droooooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiddddddddd"). Look for both of these lands in a few months and you know that we will give you the straight scoop on hot new devices.
