New Windows Phone 7 app porting tool for developers Android out

Today, Microsoft posted on their developer blog on a new tool for porting apps to devices Android for Windows Phone much easier. Much, as that recently was Microsoft for iOS, the API tool is said to look like a translation dictionary for people who are native Android encoders and will help them understand the Windows Phone 7 environment. I hope that this means developers can make their applications useful to the platform and help Microsoft to extend their market selection.

With the Android Market increasing at a rate fast and welcoming currently more than 150,000 apps, it is intelligent Microsoft to appeal to these developers. Recent polls have shown that developer interest for Android is before all other os mobile at 67%, while Windows Phone is second in the last 36% interest developer. This version means Microsoft can mount the Android wave with a way for developers to easily move their software to WP7, and that should please the thousands of coders out there.

While this news is not directly related to this history, in an interview with the news channel 9, a leading developer, Thomas fennel talked about the functionality of popular live tile the Windows phone 7 operating system. Throughout the interview, Tom spoke live tile feature and how it was almost removed from the list of the features of Windows Phone 7. Apparently, the best film of WP7 was almost removed in the update of mango, but rather, they realized that much potential this service has and eventually improve. This move really me question where Microsoft is going with their operating system. Live tiles and instant information was original to the OS point of sale, up until the final result would look like without them?
