Developer of games Android and iOS TinyCo launched the TinyFund of $ 5 million to provide developers of mobile games with capital and resources needed to successfully launch their games. Developers from around the world are invited to submit their proposals for review, no matter at what stage of development, they are currently in.
Selected developers will be get the monetary assistance up to $500,000 by title, as well as for marketing, development and business assistance as needed. Funding recipients will be announced in the third quarter.
It is not known what will ask TinyCo in return, but we bet they want a percentage of the revenue for their efforts (and money).
TinyCo is the company behind the top five grossing non-English games of iOS including hits as tiny, small Zoo and Tap Resort, all of which have appeared on maps of Top 10 free games in the App Store. In total, the games have more than 20 million downloads.
For memory, TinyCo has recently closed a 18 million in financing round led by Andreessen Horowitz.
