T-Mobile G-slate, known as Optimus Pad, launched 20 April as first shelf of honeycomb of T-Mobile, but it seems that the title is not helping the tablet in the sales department. The tablet which was originally priced to compete with the Motorola just Xoom received his second reduction in price of the hefty price tag $529.99 that we reported on in April, to something a little more pleasant $ 399 with a 2 year contract. It is the attempt of T-mobile to give this shelf a little more appeal to buyers who would usually directly to the alternative of Apple.
On paper, this tablet can easily thing combat on the market. The 8.9-inch 3D screen produces beautiful images in a 1280 by 720 pixel resolution. The other notable feature is the double 5 megapixel rear facing camera which is always ready to take on a cool 3D video that can be posted on YouTube with ease. The inclusion of a processor dual-core and the ability to out HDMI for a 1080p TV are some other great features should have been stamped in large letters on the box.
The absence of selling high is due to several factors. T Mobile did not have the best job of marketing their part most Americans know this thing exists, and 3D on the go is just a myth. LG is the main cause of the low number; they made a device with large specs but not put as much effort in the design. Samsung and Motorola will include that people want something that looks like nice to carry and they can show their friends.
It is the right advanced, but with the Galaxy Samsung tab very soon, I don't know what is T-Mobile can do to improve the numbers they have currently.
