While tablets can be rage this year, these devices not yet as functional as your laptop every day. While some operating systems are optimized to reach Earth, it is simply easier to have a physical keyboard to do your job. Of course, there are mounds of accessories you can buy for your new purchase, including keyboard docks, but what happens if the device had a keyboard integrated right? This is exactly what Dell is doing with the shelf that see you above, and it is not really look terrible.
He is little known on this prototype above since all technical specifications, including the operating system, are unknown. Having a physical sliding keyboard on a shelf 10 inches may be too, find one on a 7 inch Tablet may be just what the doctor ordered. 7-inch tablets are much easier to handle and are lighter than any incher 10 there, so the extra weight for a keyboard can be more tolerable. The split keyboard, found on the device looks like spacious and very usable, and to be honest, we're surprised to see this entry from Dell.
Dell Tablet offers have been a little sub by at least, but after seeing its roadmap leak, it can be said that the company is betting heavily on this emerging market. We can expect to see more Android tablets of the company and some 8 Windows devices to the bottom of the line. As to this particular Tablet OS would be likely benefit from this form factor.
The well-designed tablet can pack a serious punch, when we see the specs revealed, but until then, we have to keep dreaming. If it's an Android Tablet we'll probably step Dell UI running on top, which is pleasant, but offers features very little outside of some interesting widgets. If it is a tablet of Windows 8, and then we will take what we can get, and since its release is still some time us would not surprised if this prototype has seen some changes before design made its debut. Can we suggest to do something with the center of the keyboard, as some clumsy game controls?
