This is about a month that Gameloft released World of Warcraft clone, Chaos & order online, on the market of iOS with much praise from players as it offers a true MMO on the iPhone experience successfully and iPad. The game has exceeded the App Store charts in its first week of being released. Gameloft, today announced that the game generated $ 1 million of revenue in only 20 days to be released.
To celebrate the milestone of 1 million of revenue generation, Gameloft has announced its plans for the first free upgrade online order & Chaos. The update is scheduled to be deployed this month and will include new quests, a channel dedicated for each language chat and a migration of Server service. Gameloft also has plans to implement the other updates later the long life of the game to include the dungeons and PvP arenas that will allow players to fight against each other in a dedicated space.
One thing I am curious to know with the news of the day is if 1 million in revenue from players to purchase the app, purchase subscriptions or both. Seeing that I still have until July to play my free initial 3 months of service for the purchase of the game, I guess that the majority of the income was to make the initial purchase of the set of people. This is not not to tell the news of the day is incredible step, although it is pale the sales of games such as cutting the rope or angry birds. This should always be a memorable occasion for players in command line & Chaos, as well as fans of massively multiplayer games on mobile devices. We hope that Blizzard will catch wind of the success of this game and finally decide to offer a mobile version of World of Warcraft, we well have strongly doubt that.
