A new app to launch to 2011 CTIA was Gogobeans, which seems at first sight greatly as Bump. Basically, you have a record of content (called beans) stored in a cloud, and also that you long and your friend are running iPhone or upcoming Android app, you can share access to the files (called bouncing) simply by shaking your phone. Once a file is shared, your friend will have access to the cloud for as long that you authorize - it is not just a one-way file transfer. The main difference with Bump is location is not a problem, so you can shake-to-part from across the room or across the country. Although you can load all kinds of content to your account from a computer, right now the iPhone Gogobeans version will transfer only photos and contacts, with more information on how that.
Open the a warning I see right now that both parties need the app, but the iPhone application will include push notifications in the future, so you can see incoming share requests even if Gogobeans is not running. The Android app is still in the works, but should be out shortly. Pricing is free start, but if you need a lot of cloud storage, Premium packages will be available. Apps blackBerry and Windows phone are in the works, but will not be around to the later this year.
Here is a quick video shows it in action, and if you want to give it a shot, you can download the free app iOS below. ‘
