Sonim Technologies has introduced its latest smartphone combined a Mobile World Congress 2011 in Spain, namely, the Force of XP3300 Sonim. The new robust device is made of glass fibre and meets IP68-rated, two metres high standing on concrete, two feet and immersion in water 20 to 55 degrees below zero Celsius (-4 to 131 degrees Fahrenheit) in temperatures.

Sonim XP3300 Force robust smartphone sports a screen of 2 inches with a 1.5 mm thick cover glass Corning Gorilla, a microphone cancellation of noise, GPS, 2 megapixel camera with a bright flash of LED, Bluetooth and quad-band GSM support. There are Opera Mini browser, the city Cruiser Navigation and Mobile Resource Management (MRM) applications.
The XP3300 Force Sonim handset is therefore up to 24 hours talk time or GPS, tracking mode, or up to 800 hours standby. It is expected go on sale in 2011 Q2, but no word on pricing at the present time.
