What appeared to be a potential successor to Droid X has just fallen in the category "disappointing". We heard the rumours coming Droid X 2, but you find it here, as it seems that the image above shows only a change in the existing Droid X external storage. For some reason, SCK made reference to new variant as the "Droid X 2." Turns out, internal code name of the company for the DX variant probably is not the real DX2.
Apparently note above refers to a variant of the DX, a small sport microSD card and bearing confusion "moniker Droid X2?." Initially the handset comes with an onboard 16 GB microSD card, but it is now narrowed to 2 GB and manages to keep the same price. Don't get wrong, we like the Droid X and still is a decent price for what it is, but shaving just off the coast of 14 GB of storage seems penny pinching for us.
The real 2 DX should pack a blow and will be in effect add functionality, not delete. The rumour that the combined update will wear a single-core and 1.2 GHz CPU, 768 MB or RAM, with the latest version of Motoblur. If the rumours turn out to be true, the handset may be dead on arrival before it is communicated, as a larger and better phones Motorola, that they were focusing their. Just like the Droid 2 was an incremental update to the original, the Droid X 2 does not concern as it will be a significant upgrade.
Motorola wants your money, just as each company compete for your attention, but they want to without doubt whether you're interested in handsets like the Atrix 4 G and Droid bionics. These powerful devices are highly advanced and probably can trounce most other smartphones on the market today. So if you are looking for a solid upgrade of your Droid X, don't expect the suite to be very different. That said, we still know very little about the device to come, hopefully, some of the rumours specifications have bumped along the way.
In the year of "dual-core domination", are having two hearts of processors in your next smartphone a must?
