We get lots of indications that BlackBerry App World is due for an update to 3.0 soon, and we now have another screenshot of the portal device-side app to go with the first, we have seen a few months ago. As you can see, Apps, games and themes is at the top of the category tree, with a bar research ready and waiting at the top of the screen. The layout of the carousel is sticking, but it seems that they are implemented a cool background, blurring. Bing is obviously pervasive since it is the official search engine for BlackBerry now. In terms of actual characteristics, we are still not quite sure what is new, but there may be a business-grade dedicated section, and no doubt polls BBM Social Development Kit provides some mechanisms of suggestion connected app in App world somewhere.
Developer interest may be declining in BlackBerry, but RIM made their struggle to free the costs to update the tools available to improve the experience it has been historically. Although the App world prices of above average could sting of end users, it means income developer on a per - app basis are higher than the average. This, of course, depends on whether race RIM of upcoming devices are popular enough to get people to buy in the first place. NFC, augmented reality and a faster processor permanently open new doors for developers, but they need an assurance that they you win money on what they claim to the world of the App. On the flip side, if there is no real killer apps available, consumers will be less inclined to seek a BlackBerry in the future.
In all cases, world App looks bright enough, and hopefully, it will be ready to roll on the first set of devices OS 7.
