Motorola Droid 3 ships with locked bootloader - surprise anyone?

Broken promises are the specialty of Motorola. Never mentioned the name of MotoBlur for shipping combined with unlocked boot, Motorola wrapping is not the shiny Android manufacturers. Is the Droid Motorola 3 which launched yesterday is indeed delivered with a locked bootloader, not making custom ROM a no go for now.

Although Motorola has promised that it will begin to ship the latest Android phones with unlocked boot, we have yet to see go the Droid phone maker flagship. That said, the Moto said that phones with unlocked boot start shipping until late 2011, and given that we are only in the middle of the year, we can give them a time out. Perhaps.

Droid 3 is a solid upgrade if you even 2 Droid, that it has a catchy dual-core processor, more grand, qHD display and a camera oriented to the front for video chat. The keyboard of the device was modified and now offers a dedicated number row, which is a very allowed addition. Some may be a bit off since the Droid 3 doesn't support Verizon bright fast LTE network. Still, the handset is quite solid without it and we can imagine that he suffer battery problems in the lightning and the revolution.

If you are interested in the Droid 3 but are to retain your purchase because of the locked bootloader, Don't. We have little doubt that the phone will receive an update, which will give the user the option to unlock the bootloader if he or she chooses. Waiting sucks, Yes, but you can at least be confident that you will be able to hack the D3 in the near future. I hope so.

We wish Motorola would it hurry up with the situation of bootstrapper, there are many people who have jumped to another manufacturer for its hackabilities combined.

Anyone looking to pick up the Droid 3?
