Path, a popular photo sharing application for the iPhone, has finally made its way to Android. One of the biggest limitations of the road, in addition to its voluntary limitation 50-friends, was that it was limited to users of iOS only. The application allows users to take photos and share them with friends or family, and photos can be tagged geo, subtitled and tweaked with the number of filters which has the path. By remaining true to its name, however, the photos have to be taken on the smartphone to be shared with other people (i.e. cannot you take a picture with your DSLR, download to your smartphone and share).
Now, Android users can get in all the fun and action. Here's what you can do with the path for Android:
Capture and share moments of life through photos.Stay connected to a small group of 50 close friends & family.Tag your moments with the people, places and things.Display times of your friends.Tell your friends how every moment felt you with Emotion.Have intimate around every moment with Chat.Know conversations when your friends have seen your moments.Publish the occasional moment on Facebook for all your Facebook friends to see.Path for Android is the Android Market now as a public beta, so you could expect some bugs or the kinks here and there, but the road team, it was made very clearly that it will continue to work on the app and give him all the love he gave to the iOS version.
