I've seen, mixing attempts reveals with clothing, and usually at the end is a rigid screen on loose clothing.
Yes, it's not really a good fit, but Dave Forbes has created a 160 x 120 LED video coat, somehow anywhere playing video. Watch a video of it after the jump, and you can see how it works.
You can see that it is pretty DIY, and essentially is printed circuit boards and LED flex-boards are glued to a lab coat material. This video-feed is from the iPod, and you will see, there are buttons for adjusting the color, brightness and also a way to it in black and white switch.
This coat at burning man plans Dave Forbes in the summer with. He is to switch the batteries every hour or so, though.
I'm not sure what is Dave Forbes long-range plan with this lab coat television. In all honesty, I don't see a practical need for clothing, working as a video screen. Unless, of course, one one going to become TV commercial on a Convention or something.
However, you have to admire the neat factor of something like this. I suspect that you could sit not in it, if you want to break it. Something tells me that once we we much more durable will see examples of TV clothing on the age of flexible displays.
