Lately, I have my son, taught to ride a bike, and it reminds me of my days of bike riding cumbersome. I remember that I had a hard time with changing the gears, but what if I could do it with my head?
Parlee works cycles apparently on a concept bike made of carbon fiber, which does exactly that. It is part of the Toyota Prius projects and uses a helmet equipped with neurotransmitters, to the institution to read brain waves. A wireless transmitter to the motorcycle seat post is the signal and change the gearbox.
As of may guess, this is still a concept. In fact has still none of the developers work all over the brain control and still have a Smartphone for the controls. I've heard of neuro controls above is used, but I suspect, is not quite as good as Bluetooth technology.
I myself always even, if a brain control set to a biker gang too much technology set is where it is not. If we provide electronic shift gear want to make a bike, can we create any automatic bike recognition or something? Maybe I'm over thinking this does not, but a brain shifting bike under-thought.
