Zynga buys five Mobile to focus on applications

Another sign that Zynga takes seriously the mobile space, the social game company has just announced that he bought five Mobile based in Toronto.

As its name suggests, five Mobile is well known for the creation of mobile applications and it will give Zynga nice impose himself on the Canada. The company said:

Five Mobile, now Zynga Toronto, creates compelling, robust and scalable mobile applications. The team has worked closely with some of the largest media and technology in North America through a multitude of platforms and combined. This talented group will focus on the advancement of multiple initiatives within Zynga mobile.

I have had a recent conversation with a friend on the Zynga to come despite, and he believed that it was absolutely absurd that this company was being assessed more than companies such as Electronics Arts and that it is just a flash a pan. Although I can't stand as guarantor of the assessment, and I am sure that the pop of IPO day will lead many cries of a bubble, I really think Zynga gets social games and while most of its revenues come from players of Facebook, it has an extraordinary opportunity for growth in mobile.

A recent report by Nielsen said mobile gaming explodes with the iPhone, the avant-garde, it is clear that Zynga products could be popular on these platforms. It has shown that it can use the model of purchasing in the game with success and the wise use of the social features like Facebook Connect and Apple game Center, I think that the future is very promising for this company on the mobile side of things.
