Yesterday an open letter to RIM by a high level of the Executive was published by Boy Genius report, and it seemed to the mirror in the sense that many BlackBerry fans have been circulated for years. The lack of trust in the employee in particular RIM is probably among others and perhaps even other senior management. RIM and the BlackBerry brand fought for customers, please, despite the numbers and earnings figures they keep throwing to the public, and it appears that someone has finally broken.
RIM has responded to the letter, however, especially to deny its authenticity, but recognizing the issues relating to the letter as of the elements that are considered internal. This is not a very convincing answer, but in the defence of RIM, the letter may have come from left field. But it might be the problem, it should not also been surprise that it was.
However, the letter apparently triggered other employees to do the same RIM and BGR has been flooded emails current and former employees who feel the same way on the company and the BlackBerry mark. One of the anonymous letters from a former employee said:
My first week began with a change full of my title and functions without anyone telling me and when I Dared ask what was going on, the Director (my boss) and his BFF's working against me OD business partner and has threatened to let me go, setting the tone for the rest of my time there.
BGR argues that the truth of these letters have been confirmed, it seems to inform a little more in the RIM corporate culture.
The main issue that RIM should address is its internal affairs, especially if the employees are willing to linen sale press air. The company has never been especially good on the control of leakage of information and products, but perhaps these recent events could be a wake-up. The BlackBerry manufacturer did not need address of his client in ever-changing needs and desires, but he needs to treat its employees a little differently, too. Apparently.
