We already tested the Comcast Xfinity iPad app, which has transformed your tablet in a cool remote but Comcast does not improve this app and added live performances, streaming.
The program can still be used on the iPhone and iPod as a distance of Wi - Fi but Xfinity iPad app gives you access to shows on demand and movies directly on your shelf. If you subscribe to channels like HBO and Starz premium, you'll also get access to one on the shelf.
"Xfinity TV app with streaming video is part of our ongoing efforts to provide entertainment experiences for our clients on all screens and devices," said Matt Strauss, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Comcast Interactive Media, in a prepared statement. "We have an aggressive development plan to introduce features even more in the coming months that allow clients more richly monitor, control and personalize their entertainment."
As Netflix on the Apple tablet, I don't know how many people need this in their homes - you already have a larger screen to watch this long term content. Yet, this is a neat addition and I could see several scenarios when it comes to practice. If you have children, you can put children on the big screen for programming while you are sitting on the couch watching the new season of Breaking Bad. Of course, it could also come into practice in hotels.
The Comcast Xfinity iPad app keeps all its previous features, you can therefore use it to discover what is on TV, schedule recordings and find more information about what you watch.
The Apple Tablet has quickly become a companion of strong television, such as TiVo, several cable companies and third parties such as the Vualla app have all developed programs to help increase the experience of watching TV.
