Intel said Friday that he will continue the MeeGo operating system development. MeeGo is a joint venture between Nokia and Intel merge Maemo, operating system used by Nokia on its N-series tablets and Intel's Mobilin project. The mobile operating system was designed for smartphones, tablets and on-board like those found in televisions network and car entertainment systems.

Further Announces Nokia has been adopting Windows phone as its primary operating system for smartphones, the Finnish manufacturer suggested that MeeGo will become a platform of research used to explore the "next-generation devices, platforms and user experiences." MeeGo device will be launched in 2011, but additional devices are not on the roadmap of Nokia. A session of Q & A Nokia and Microsoft Announces big suite, Stephen Elop called MeeGo "an opportunity learning", which involves Intel on its own if it wants to make MeeGo a commercially viable platform.
