Microsoft releases new tools for dev, copy and paste included

windows phone 7 1 Microsoft releases new dev tools, copy and paste includedOh Hey, look, Microsoft decided to include copy and paste it into the last update to Windows Phone 7 developer tools. It is good that software manufacturer takes cues from Apple before the launch of its new brand spankine platform, but why it lacks copy and paste the beginning exceeds me. And yet here is the news.

Brandon Watson, Director of Windows Phone 7, gave the following details to PPCGeeks.com:

Chevron WP7 Unlocker team was not paid for their services and are kept in contact (unofficially) to help get an entry for the update of devsThe from late Thursday or Friday early will be involving a new image of the OS, which will include developers copy paste help, and advice for an OS update in the coming month. We assume at the end of February. Start Marshall apps on the market will get copy and paste, without the updates made by the new developerThe OS Image will include compatibility for CDMA and CDMA is promised to end quarter 2011.The OS 2 is looking to capture more devs in General and help them get back on track and interested in software WP7's

Developers have certainly jumped on new tools as the Watson said that they have been downloaded over a million times. Look for great things to come, fans of Windows Phone 7, deploying updates to the software and the market continues to expand. In addition, the notable absence of WP7 of Sprint and Verizon may be a thing of the past, as the new image of the OS apparently include CDMA compatibility. We only see the CDMA WP7 devices by the end of the spring or early summer.
