
In a move that could further stimulate the interest of developer platform, Google said in its event honeycomb this morning would be closer in-app purchases Android. The new revenue stream is available for developers at the end of the first quarter and can take as little as five days to implement. The move should help to boost the ailing Android market. If content creators can not earn so much money on Android, then they will be naturally gravitate toward the Apple iPhone, even if little green robot has more users. The ability to make in-app purchases will change I hope that this dynamic, or at least the same it out since Apple had for two years. RIM is not far behind on that front, having launched just in-app pruchases in BlackBerry App world today.
