The daily iPad has a visually-pleasing with interface relies on smears and keys around. First of all, you are greeted with a carousel of different topics, which include news, games, sports, opinions and other sections, you can expect a publication like this. You do not expect that the issue to download - or they like to say that it is delivered.

Once you dive into a story, it is formatted like a magazine, most of the time. You can look forward to big, splashy images and text contained in a coherent manner. Some stories also include videos play inline. This big, beautiful iPad screen is also the photos stand out.

My greatest fear for this publication was that News Corp. may be stuck in the past and build a single compressed publication who tried to push the old methods on new technologies. This isn't quite the case, as the daily iPad lets you share stories to Facebook, Twitter and email. When emailed you a link, the user will be directed to a web version with notice that due to download the application will give them the full experience.

It's a great thing, in my opinion, because news organizations can now claim that we are in the past where once the ink is dry, it did. This application can be updated live to break stories and I am sure that this will be in the future.

Regards content, it is strong enough and what you would expect. In many respects, it reminds me of the project for the Apple Tablet review as it intelligently combines the mentalities of the old school with modern technology. Most do this in a browser? Probably, but the user interface and experience is much better than other news sites.

It should be of 99 cents per week? I would say it is and the first two weeks will be free through Verizon, so go and check it out and tell us what you think. We will really get a glimpse of what it can do until there is some breaking news, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

Oh yes, there is a section of games and applications including Sudoku.
