Western Digital Corp.. (WD) announced today two new class enterprise hard leads to know the S25 WD and WD RE. They form factor 2.5 inch and 3.5-inch, respectively. The first model, Western Digital has S25 capacity of 450 and 600 GB, while the Western Digital RE 1TB and 2TB of storage capacity.
Two Western Digital hard drives are designed for the use of servers, workstations, network drives, high-capacity and other major manufacturers. S25 and WD RE hard disk is support for the interface (Serial Attached SCSI) SAS 6 GB / s, buffer 32 MB, 10 k RPM (revolutions per minute) for S25 Western Digital 7200 RPM WD RE.
The MTBF (mean time before failure) is 1.75 million hours S25 and WD 1.2 million hours of Western Digital RE. There is no word on the date of establishment of prices and release at the time.
